AW11 Part 1

Unfortunately, not being able to attend runways is in my nature... "Fashionably Late" as they say.
LOL are you kidding me? I'm not a bloody important body to be able to have that exclusive access! Grrrrr
But I give my many thanks and credits to and their journalist Danielle Radojcin for the information they have so effortlessly uploaded.
I will be blogging some of the categories that I personally find amazing, other than that you can find the rest of the creations on people (:

"Tunic dresses, a boxy silhouette and knee-high boots in pastel shades came zooming down the runway."
Wowee! Don't those models look like 60's glamour birds? I am totally a sucker for tunic dresses so this was definitely my cup of tea. The pastel colours and orange tones hint the gradual change from S/S11 to A11.

Below are two sets that I have designed for the MOD SQUAD collection.

"Fashion is hearing the call of the wild, with animal motifs encroaching on the urban fashion massive. Snakeskin print was everywhere, as were fuzzy gorilla-like jackets, white paillettes evocative of fish scales Glistened at Prada. Elsewhere, dark winter florals bloomed on outfits as Mary Katrantzou, Erdem and Cacharel."

Animal prints have always been part of the fashion scene, with the most loved up has to be leopard prints.
Animal prints give off a sense of confidence, a sexual boost that make you feel and look sexy.
The difference of the A/W11 catwalks this year was the introduction of exotic animal prints, the more exotic the more wild and sexy each item of clothing got!
Also, while browsing online I did spot that Topshop had given a glimpe of their A/W11 clothing guide as well. Apparently, kitsch jumpers are big this year with images of animals. I would think horses would carry on being a main animal icon with the usual cats and dogs following but designer brands would definitely have wilder animal on their clothing lines!
I have to say though, I'm totally in love with the Prada fish scale dress! Such an amazing creation.

"As soon as Kate Moss exited the Louis Vuitton show wearing bondage boots and smoking a ciggie, followed by Lady Gaga doing the same in skin-tight leather at Mugler, our suspicions were confirmed: fetish wear is cracking its whip this season"

From what the models are giving a glimpse of above, the runway just oozes of sex appeal.
Dark, mysterious colours, tones of blacks and purples, are surrounded by sex kittens desperately seeking attention.
Knee-length, skin tight dresses and pencil skirts with see-through tops. High waisted shorts with platform boots.... Undercover hooker style I'd say hahaa Love it!
I think this has to be my favourite category for the A/W11 runway. Sexy clothes? Ohhh yes :)

Tomorrow I shall be posting the other three styles on the runway that I liked!
- It's taken me two/three days to do this much believe it or not guys I've been so busy with my family and so my blog life was dependent at night when I have peace and quiet to myself.

I hope you all like my collaboration of clothes that I gathered, if any of you seek any info on anything please let me know! It's only a comment away :)

Muchos Amor & Besos
